Reimbox is a poetry generator which is able to generate and perform poetry algorhithmically. The poems use metrical patterns and rhymes. It was not the intention to let the box generate something like „sense“, the box should show the endless creativity of a machine. Reimbox brings the audience back to the times of dada, where artists tried to tear down the walls of buzzwords. The box also illustrates how our conceptions of „author“, „work“ and „creativity“ will change during the use and spreading of algorhithmic literature.

unicode infinite is a generative infinite text video installation. It animates the glyphs of the basic multilingual plane of the unicode standard and presents this range of the human culture of writing as a polyphonic text video installation. Characters are appearing in a very fast sequence sorted by optical similarity that was calculated by an automatic recognition process.

The Search Trilogy (search lutz!, 2006; searchSongs, 2008; searchSonata 181, 2011) performs algorithmically generated texts.

"abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz is an audiovisual voice performance. image and sound are created in real-time through custom written software that analyzes and captures the sound of my voice to create animated abstract visual text/sound-compositions. the autonomous movement and behaviour of visual element on the screen again influence the sound which creates an audiovisual feedback loop or an autopoetic live performance system.

"sniff_jazzbox creates an audible city. it converts the wlan-waves into sound waves. the wlan conversion uses a streamsearch algorithm which was also used in streamfishing and searchsongs. the extended version for iphone will let the user control instruments and speed of the melodies.

Author's description: The following (text-) picture is depending from the searching and algorithm of the internet search engine Google. Google gives ten hits each per enquiry back with a short summary, the Snippets. I have a program written which selects the Snippets and generates with this text material a picture in real time.The Snippets are put by a random generator, in number and position depending on the chosen lines or pixel number. What you get is a net-based and net-dependent (text-) picture.
